The pink façade of the 1913 villa with its arched stained-glass window, among the oleanders

Corte Vaticana 1913

A private apartment in a 1913 villa, opposite the Vatican walls

Welcome

The walls of this villa have sheltered many lives: the Russian countess Frankenstein, a German general, then a Montessori nursery school full of voices and games. In 1993 our parents fell in love with it and restored it with care and respect.

Today we open part of it to guests: a ground-floor apartment with its own courtyard, a five-minute walk from the Vatican Museums.

Living and dining room

The front door opens onto a large room: the sofa bed and a big TV, the antique wooden wardrobe, the dining table for six. Niches with small objects and warm light in the evening.

The courtyard

Breakfast outdoors, a glass in the evening after a day walking around Rome. The courtyard is yours alone: it opens from the kitchen, with a table and a parasol.
